Dive Site - Broadway Reef
Broadway reef is a favorite among the Riviera Yacht Charter crews. The cove provides ample protection for boaters and a very nice reef system that is host to many large ocean visitors. Whales, turtles, dolphins, sea lions and much more have been spotted here! You can't go wrong with safe and enjoyable dives from a boat on this beach. Follow the low rock pilings out to the deeper water and you'll enjoy a nice sandy bottom and passing animals. It's amazing and fun!
This is a protected area in terms of waves. Use caution when entering and exiting the water. There is a life guard stand at this location, but it is much farther down the beach and would be hard to signal in the event of an emergency.
For added safety, make sure you have a Surface Marker Buoy (SMB), a knife and an underwater light to check out the little critters hiding among the reef!
This location is not in the Marine Protected Area. You are allowed to hunt here.
