Maintaining body temperature is a technique we find when scuba diving. In Southern California, a 7mm wetsuit is recommended when diving in the Pacific Ocean. If you are traveling internationally, many places require only a 3mm, 5mm or even a 'skin' wetsuit (0.5mm or below).
