By adding a compact wing to the Pony Pac, you have the Companion BC, an ultra-compact travel BC. The Companion BC is 40% lighter than traditional BCs weighing in at only 5 lbs (2.3 kg). Two-way adjustable sternum strap. Extra-large thumb loops for cinching down shoulder straps. Both the torso adjustable and sternum straps are equipped with squeeze-style side-release buckles. The waist strap is a cummerbund design with a hook and loop fastener closure. Harness is designed for easy donning and doffing. Buoyancy control is provided by the XS Scuba Micro Inflator. This inflator mechanism uses a drift pin design, which provides greater reliability and longevity than those inflators relying upon standard Schrader valves. Inflator has a cable-activated pull-dump valve at shoulder. The XS Scuba Companion BC is made to last with the outer bag manufactured from durable 1680D nylon with harness being 600 polyester, back pad suede cloth and a thermoplastic urethane (TPU) film radio frequency (RF) welded bladder. BC comes with an owner's manual and a 3/8" threaded quick disconnect hose. Take advantage of the versatility that a removable air cell can offer.
