Dive Site - A.C.E. Wreck
The ACE is among the challenging dives in Southern California. Reserved for experienced Advanced Divers, Deep Divers and Technical Divers, the ACE wreck is a treat for thrill seekers in Southern California!
This wreck sits at 116ft of seawater off the coast of Dana Point, California. It is not within the Marine Protected Area, but is respected as a deep natural habitat by the crew of the Riviera. Therefore, the company discourages any spearfishing or lobster hunting on this boat.
As you can see, the ACE is completely covered in anemones and is a major underwater habitat and artificial reef for fish.
For added safety, make sure you have a Surface Marker Buoy (SMB), a reel, a knife and an underwater light to help your visibility!
At this location, you will find Sheephead, Garibaldi, Senoritas, Bat Rays, Sand Bass, Sculpin and much more!
