Cress Street is a secluded area off the dead end street of Cress Street. A stair case takes you down to the rock wall and steep bluffs. There are scattered rocks in the water that provide homes to the sea life to afford you plenty of diving or snorkeling! One thing that this beach is known for is strong rip currents. Suggest that you be a strong swimmer, or be cautious when choosing to dive here. 

It is, of note, not considered a protected cove; which means wave action can get high and make this dive site a more advanced dive even with changing tides. Use caution when entering and exiting the water. There is a life guard stand at this location, so make sure you ask the lifeguard about the water conditions before you enter the water (if they are present). They are there for your safety and well being while conducting in-water activities! For added safety, make sure you have a Surface Marker Buoy (SMB), a knife and an underwater light to check out the little critters hiding among the reef! 

This location is in the Marine Protected Area. It is a no-take area, meaning that you cannot take anything out of the water. So, no hunting here!
