One of the most beautiful shallow-water sites in Orange County!

Located near Heisler Park off Cliff Drive, Diver's Cove proves time and again to be an amazing dive site! Summer parking is limited, so early morning dives are always the best here. There are no bathrooms on this site, but there is an expansive beachhead and plenty of folks hanging around all year long!

Diver's Cove is a shallow dive site, but very diverse. Bat Rays are known to frequent this area. Plenty of them hang out in the 15-20 foot range either hiding or cruising by on night dives. There is also a very healthy kelp bed on either side of this site. You'll enjoy exploring this area because it houses some beautiful fish that are large and healthy to look at. Unfortunately....

This is a protected area and in the no-take zone. So, no hunting is allowed. Use caution when entering and exiting the water. There is a life guard stand at this location.

For added safety, make sure you have a Surface Marker Buoy (SMB), a knife and an underwater light to check out the little critters hiding among the reef!

This location is in the Marine Protected Area. You are not allowed to hunt here.

At this location, you will find Lobster, Sheephead, Garibaldi, Senoritas, Bat Rays, Sand Bass, Sculpin and much, much more!
