Fisherman's is another great dive site in Orange County.

This smaller and more private beach is a great dive as well! There are rocks located on this entry and exit, so use caution when doing so.

Located near Heisler Park off Cliff Drive, Fisherman's is a western extension of Diver's Cove (a lot of folks actually dive either one thinking that they are in the other one!) Summer parking is limited, so early morning dives are always the best here. There are no bathrooms on this site, but there are far fewer steps to the beach than other dive sites!

Fisherman's Cove is a shallow dive site and very diverse. You'll reach some great depths and can easily end up in Diver's Cove or the eastern portion of Shaw's Cove. So, ensure your navigation is on point here or you will be doing some shore walking! There is a healthy kelp bed on either side of this site. You'll enjoy exploring this area because it houses some beautiful fish that are large and healthy to enjoy looking at. Unfortunately....

This is a protected area and in the no-take zone. So, no hunting is allowed. Use caution when entering and exiting the water. There is no life guard stand at this location.

For added safety, make sure you have a Surface Marker Buoy (SMB), a knife and an underwater light to check out the little critters hiding among the reef!

This location is in the Marine Protected Area. You are not allowed to hunt here.

At this location, you will find Lobster, Sheephead, Garibaldi, Senoritas, Bat Rays, Sand Bass, Sculpin and much, much more!
