Crystal Cove Underwater Park is a beautiful preserve intended for conservation activities. This dive site is excellent, covers approximately 1,000 acres of underwater realm and does include other dive sites called the Corsair and Historic Anchor. So, it is a rather large dive location!

This park is visited by millions each year as they explore the tidepools, beaches and trail systems.

Of note, there is a very large kelp forest system here. These provide protection and hiding spots for thousands of fish and invite larger animals to explore when hunting for food. You'll meet seals, water birds, sea otters and much more here.

Also use caution when entering and exiting the water. There is a life guard stand at this location. For added safety, make sure you have a Surface Marker Buoy (SMB), a knife and an underwater light to check out the little critters hiding among the reef!

This location is in the Marine Protected Area. It is a take area, meaning that you can take anything out of the water.

At this location, you will find Sheephead, Garibaldi, Senoritas, Bat Rays, Sand Bass, Sculpin and much, much more!
