Occidental Papagayo Adults Only All Inclusive Hotel

Enjoy a 5-night stay at the 5-star Occidental Papagayo Adults Only All Inclusive Hotel which sits in the Gulf of Papagayo and is referred to as the "Jewel of the Pacific" blending in seamlessly with the lush, natural surroundings guests can enjoy both the comfort of the exotic flora and fauna along with the All Inclusive program offered at the resort. Situated up on a hillside, this all inclusive resort has 3 restaurants and bars, a beautiful swimming pool to relax by, play tennis or volleyball, shoot some archery, or enjoy some time on the water snorkeling or kayaking. 

Featuring 163 rooms throughout the hotel that have been carefully designed to include all the amenities to enable guests to relax and recuperate as they enjoy the many activities available both within the resort and in the surrounding area. All rooms have a balcony or terrace from where guests can admire the cliffs and incredible sunsets. We will be staying in a deluxe room furnished with either 2 double or 1 king bed with a balcony to enjoy the views. The hotel also features a disco, where guests can dance and enjoy refreshing drinks and delicious cocktails. Its opening times are 9.30 pm to 2.00 am

The 3 restaurants and 4 bars at the Occidental Papagayo – Adults Only hotel will allow you to discover the best Costa Rican cuisine and an original international offering with meticulous service. Daily buffet breakfast, lunch, & dinner are included along with A-La Carte Dinners at the Specialty Restaurants.* Unlimited Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available throughout your stay as well, so after a day of diving grab a drink and relax by the pool or on the beach. *Dinners for à la carte restaurants must be booked from the second day of your stay, and you can enjoy one dinner for every 3 nights of your stay. 

Our all inclusive stay will include unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from the bars and restaurants along with a welcome cocktail party. Dress Code Observed (dinners for a la carte restaurants must be booked from the second day of your stay, and you can enjoy one dinner for every three nights of your stay).   • This guided tour takes you to El Silencio trail, where you can enjoy bird watching, heliconia gardens and old lava flows from 1968. After a long day of hiking, it is time to enjoy and relax in the hot springs, its minerals and all its benefits for the skin, muscles and bones.

• Llanas de Cortez Waterfall, Rainforest Sloth, & Frog Tour with Lunch
  • Here you will be able to observe the nicest, most graceful and slowest animal in Costa Rica in its natural habitat, free and enjoying itself. Also, sometimes it is possible to see other species of animals, such as frogs or snakes along the walk.

  • The hanging bridges of La Fortuna are a very special place to enjoy the tropical rainforest from a different perspective. The tour consists of 2 kilometers of trails to observe monkeys, birds and countless reptiles and insects.

    • Time to get soaked! In this activity we will take you on a 45-minute trip along rural routes until we reach the river where we will launch the rafts and descend the river for about 2 hours of fun and adrenaline.

  • Cano Nego Wildlife Boat Ride

    • Caño Negro is a wonderful wildlife refuge, its wetlands, rivers and creeks are home to hundreds of animal species. On this tour you will be able to enjoy one of the most iconic natural places in Costa Rica on a boat trip on Río Frío. In order to book this service, we need your passport number and country of emission. This is a mandatory requirement in Costa Rican national parks reservation system. You’ll also need to bring your passport the day of the tour.

  • Canyon Waterfall Repelling

    • A rope descent adventure on a rocky surface next to four different waterfalls, right in the middle of the rainforest. To carry out this activity, a good physical condition is required.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Passports: Carry a passport valid well beyond the day of your anticipated return (minimum of six months). Please remember to review this prior to departure.
• Visas: Obtain any required visas for the countries you are visiting. Visa processing time and requirements vary between countries. Your nationality may also be a factor regardless of where you reside.
• Immunizations: Certain countries require immunization certificates prior to gaining entry. Check with your doctor well in advance of travel for advice on what is required for your destination.

$500 pp. deposit reserves your space. Deposit is non-refundable and any other refund is dependent on being able to sell your space. Final balance due June 18, 2025.  Dive Accident Insurance is MANDATORY. We highly recommend Trip Cancellation Insurance (DAN).
